Alex T Fisher: Our Blessing

At 10:00am Tuesday morning, our family gathered at the hospital with Alex to say our last goodbyes.  Pastor Joel who had married Tony & I in 2010 was on speaker phone and led us in prayer.

Tony and I spent a couple more quiet moments with Alex after our family had left.  I have never cried so hard or hurt so bad in my life.  And to see my usually strong husband also broken was even more heart breaking.  

Losing a child is a whole different sort of hurt, there is nothing in the world that can prepare you for it.

You are always in our hearts Alex.
